I’m Simmi Bearde, the creative force behind Scale Bookkeeping & Accounting.

My journey began in Oakland, CA, where I was born and raised. My educational path took me first to an HBCU in Atlanta, an experience that enriched my perspective and fueled my passion for learning. I later pursued my love for interior design at the Art Institute of Atlanta, where I honed my skills in creativity and organization.

In 2009, I ventured into the world of bookkeeping and accounting, working alongside my mother, a seasoned tax professional. What began as a supportive role quickly evolved into a thriving business, blending my creative spirit with financial expertise. Now with over 15 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, I am combining my creative flair with financial knowledge to offer specialized bookkeeping services for the design industry.
